Along with Realme 8, company has also introduced Realme 8 Pro smartphone. It is direct successor to Realme 7 Pro which was announced last year.
The Realme 8 Pro feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Its screen delivers up to 1000nits brightness and boasts 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The handset itself has measurements of 160.6 x 73.9 x 8.1 mm and weighs about 176 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Also included are dual Nano SIM slots and a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
The Realme 8 Pro specs include an octa-core Snapdragon 720G mobile platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has options of 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The mobile runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0. It has 4500mAH (typical) battery with 50W VOOC SuperDart charge fast charging support. It is said to charge smartphone up to 50% in just 17 minutes and 100% in about 47 minutes. Realme has included a 65W standard adapter in the box.
Other specifications of Realme 8 Pro include quad-rear cameras. These make up of 108MP (main, 1/1.52” Samsung HM2, 9-in-1 pixel binning, ISOCELL Plus, F/1.8, 0.7um, UIS/UIS Max) + 8MP (119° Ultra-wide, F/2.25) + 2MP (B&W, F/2.4) + 2MP (4cm Macro, F/2.4) lenses. At the front side is a 16MP shooter with Sony IMX471 sensor and F/2.45 Aperture
The Realme 8 Pro delivers Hi-Res Audio and comes with 3.5mm audio jack. It has support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
The Realme 8 Pro colour options include Infinity Black, Infinite Blue and Illuminating Yellow shades. The cellphone will go on sale at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores from March 26th.
