Realme along with its 8s 5G smartphone, has also announced Realme 8i mobile in India. The handset is successor to last years Realme 7i.
Realme 8i specifications and features
The Realme 8i has dimensions of 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 194 grams. It has side mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The handset is offered with dual Nano SIM slots and Dual 4G VoLTE support. It has Android 11 OS pre-installed with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
The Realme 8i specs include 6.6-inch LCD display with 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution. Its screen offers 6-level of refresh rates ranging from 30Hz / 48Hz / 50Hz / 60Hz / 90Hz / 120Hz. Its screen has 180Hz touch sampling rate, 401ppi pixel density, 600nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colors and boasts 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering inside is octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in options of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It has MicroSD card support up to 256GB. Regardless of model, handset supports up to 5G virtual RAM.
The Realme 8i feature AI triple cameras at back with LED flash. It has 50MP main with F/1.8 Aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, 1080p video and slow motion recording. It has 2MP Macro lens with 4cm focus distance and F/2.4 Aperture. Third camera is 2MP B&W lens with F/2.4 Aperture and 3P lens. At the front side is a 16MP in-display camera with F/2.05 Aperture and 5P lens.
The smartphone packs in 5000mAh (typical) battery with 18W fast charging support. It has super power saving mode in which 5% power gives about 2.4 hours of calling or 2 hours of music or 1.3 hours of online chat or about 35.2 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
Realme 8i price, offers
The Realme 8i 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 13,999 while its 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 15,999. It comes in Space Black and Space Purple colors. The cell phone will go on sale at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores from September 14th.
HDFC Bank Credit / Debit card users can avail flat Rs. 1000 discount and EMI options. ICICI Bank card users can get EMI facility as well.
