Realme has officially launched a new smartphone in India called Realme 8s 5G.

The smartphone measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.8 mm and weighs 191 grams. It comes with dedicated dual nano SIM slots and supports 5G (n41/n28/n77/n78 bands) and dual 4G VoLTE.
The cellphone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. It has side mounted fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. At the front side helms a 6.5-inch LCD display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 405ppi pixel density, 600nits (peak) brightness and multi-touch support. It has 90.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The Realme 8s 5G specs include octa-core (2.4GHz A76 x 2 + 2GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options and houses 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The mobile includes a dedicated microSD card slot for expansion up to 1TB. It has Dynamic RAM expansion (DRE) technology offering up to additional 5GB RAM.
For optics, Realme 8s 5G feature 16MP in-display selfie camera with F/2.1 Aperture, 5P lens, EIS and 1080p video recording support. At the back side are Triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 64MP (main, F/1.8, 6P lens, PDAF, 1080p, EIS) + 2MP (B&W portrait lens, F/2.4) + 2MP (4cm macro lens, F/2.4) cameras.
The handset houses 5000mAh (typical) / 4880mAh (minimum) battery capacity. It supports 33W fast charging and offers up to 48 hours of talk time / 24 hours of WhatsApp / 122 hours music / 727 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. It has Hi-Res audio support.
Realme 8s 5G price, offers
The Realme 8s 5G 6GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 17,999 while its 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 19,999. It comes in Universe Blue and Universe Purple colors. It will go on sale at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores from September 13th.
HDFC bank Debit / Credit card users can avail flat Rs. 1500 discount and EMI options. ICICI Bank card users will have EMI facility as well. With Flipkart’s Smart Upgrade Plan, you can buy Realme 8s 5G starting at Rs. 12,599.
