Realme has officially launched 4G version of Realme 9 5G in India. The handset is dubbed as Realme 9 4G.
It has dual Nano SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor which allows heart rate tracking. The phone itself measures 160.2 x 73.3 x 7.99 mm and weighs 178 grams.
The Realme 9 4G specs include 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling and up to 1000nits brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Powering inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 680 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. It does allow further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The Realme 9 4G houses 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and F/2.45 Aperture. At its back are quad-cameras with LED Flash. It has 108MP (Main, 1/1.67-inch Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, F/1.76), 8MP (119-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2), 2MP (B&W portrait, F/2.4) and 2MP (Macro, 4cm, F/2.4) lenses.
The handset packs a 5000mAh (typical) battery capacity and allows 33W Dar Charging. It can charge the battery up to 50% in just 31 minutes. The cell phone runs on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. Hi-Res audio is supported.
