Realme has unveiled a new 5G smartphone in China under its New V Series called Realme V5 5G. It comes with dedicated Dual SIM slots and is powered by Android 10 with Realme UI on top.
It has side mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone has thickness of 9.1 mm and weighs 194 grams. It houses a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W SuperDart charging. Company claims that V5 fully charges in 65 minutes.
The Realme V5 5G specs include 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, houses Corning Gorilla Glass protection and boasts 90.7% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood is octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC with 6GB/8GB RAM variants and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage space. It has 16MP front facing camera placed inside punch-hole. At the back side is a quad-camera setup of 48MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (portrait) lenses.

The Realme V5 5G 6GB RAM variant price is 1499 Yuan (US$ 215) while its 8GB RAM model costs 1899 Yuan (US$ 272). It will go on sale in China from August 7th. There is no word about global release date of Realme V5 5G.
