Realme X goes official in India with up to 8GB RAM

Realme has officially launched its Realme X smartphone in India. It was first introduced in China back in May and was announced along side new Realme 3i.

Along with it company has also introduced, Realme X Spider-Man Edition. It has special gift packaging which includes limited edition protective casings, charger and phone itself.

The Realme X Spiderman Edition comes pre-installed with ColorOS 6.0 with special theme, customized wallpapers and icon pack. It is priced up wards at Rs. 20,999 in India and will be available in August.

The Realme X Master Edition designed by Naoto Fukasawa was also unveiled. It comes in Onion and Garlic White colors both with unique vertical patterns. It comes in 8GB/128GB otpion and is priced at Rs. 19,999 and will start selling in August.

The Realme X specifications include 6.53-inch AMOLED display with 2.2mm (top) / 1.62mm (side) slim bezels, 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 100% NTSC color gamut and multi-touch support. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and boasts 91.2% screen-to-body ratio.

It comes with 6th Generation in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking. The mobile packs in dual SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 9.0 Pie based ColorOS 6.0. The phone measures 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weighs 191 grams.

Inside is an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 procesor with Adreno 616 GPU. It has new cooling gell which reduces phone temperature by up to 15.2% in 1 hour. It is paired with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS2.1 storage space.

The Realme X specs also include 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and AI Beautification feature. The shooter is placed inside pop-up module which launches in just 0.74 seconds.

At the back side is dual camera setup featuring 48MP primary shooter with 1/2.0-inch Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.7 Aperture and 6P Lens. There is a secondary 5MP rear camera as well which captures depth info in portrait shots. These also support AI scene detection, Nightscape and Chroma Boost features.

The Realme X is powered by 3765 mAh (typical) / 3680 mAh (minimum) battery and supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack. Dolby Atmos is also supported.

The Realme X 4GB RAM variant price is Rs. 16,990 while the Realme X 8GB RAM model costs Rs. 19,999. It comes in Polar White and Space Blue colors and will be available at Flipkart and Realme.com starting July 24. Some of the launch offers include No-Cost EMI up to 6 months, 10% instant discount on SBI Credit cards (at Flipkart) and Free PayTM membership worth Rs. 750 (with benefits up to Rs. 20,000 at Realme.com).
