Realme X goes official with SD710 SoC

Earlier this month, Realme X got certified by TENAA with model number RMX1901. Now, company has officially announced Realme X smartphone in China.

The phone measures 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and has weight of 191 grams. It has 6.53-inch AMOLED multi-touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and delivers 100% NTSC color gamut.

The Realme X features in an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking. It has Dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. The mobile runs on Android 9.0 Pie based ColorOS 6.0.

At its core helms an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU. The smartphone has options of 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB ROM and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of internal memory. There no MicroSD card slot though.

The Realme X Specs include 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a dual camera setup with LED Flash. It consists of 48MP (1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, 6P Lens) and 5MP snappers.

A 3765 mAh (typical) / 3680 mAh (minimum) battery powers the hardware. VOOC 3.0 fast charging is also supported. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS.

The Realme X price starts at 1499 Yuan ($219 / Rs. 15,330 approx.) for 4GB/64GB model, 1599 Yuan ($232 / Rs. 16,350 approx.) for 6GB/64GB variant and 1799 Yuan ($260 / Rs. 18,400 approx.) for premium 8GB/128GB model. The device comes in Steam White and punk Blue colors.

There is a special Realme X Master Edition which is designed by Naoto Fukasawa. It comes in Onion and Garlic White colors and has unique vertical patterns. It is priced higher at 1899 Yuan ($275 / Rs. 19,400 approx.). The handset will start selling in China from May 20th.
