Realme X50 Pro Player Edition (RMX2072) gets certified by TENAA with specs and photos

A new Realme smartphone with model number RMX2072 has been certified by TENAA. It is believed to be called as Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.

The Realme RMX2072 shares several similarities with Realme X50 Pro 5G. Major thing noticeable is its cut-down camera setup and its very slight increase in battery capacity with fast charging.

The RMX 2072 model houses 16MP + 2MP dual front facing cameras placed inside punch hole. At the back side you get a quad-camera setup (vertically aligned at top left) of 48MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (probably macro) shooters and LED Flash.

According to TENAA, Realme X50 Pro Player Edition features in 6.44-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.

As you might expect from a flagship device, it comes with octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC. The mobile will have 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage options. There is no MicroSD card slot though.

The RMX2072 will houses dual 2055mAh battery, giving a total of 4110mAh (minimum) capacity. It will also support fast charging (65W 10VDC, 6.5A max to be precise) according to 3C certification.

The device comes with Dual SIM and 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. It boots on Android 10 with Realme UI and houses in-display fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.

Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, Dual Frequency GPS (L1+L5), USB Type-C and NFC should be present

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition (RMX2072) will come in Dark Black and Silver White colors. The handset is expected to launch on May 25th.
