Just recently, Redmi announced vanilla Redmi 10 India model. Now, company has introduced Redmi 10C in Malaysia, which is similar to India’s vanilla variant (at least in terms of design).
The Redmi 10C comes in Graphite Gray, Ocean Blue and Mint Green colors. Pricing and availability details were not revealed.

It is a dual SIM smartphone offering dual 4G VoLTE. It is powered by Android 11 based MIUI 13. It has proximity, ambient light and accelerometer bundled within.
For biometrics, Redmi 10C feature in rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It also brings support for AI Face unlocking. Depending on the market, NFC is available.
The smartphone offers a 6.71-inch DotDrop LCD display that gives 1650 x 720 pixels resolution, 20.625:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch. It supports Netflix HD and Prime Video HD and comes with Corning Gorilla Protection on top.
The Redmi 10C specs include octa-core Snapdragon 680 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and has options of 64GB/128GB UFS2.2 storage space. The cell phone includes a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 1TB.
The smartphone itself measures 169.5 x 76.56 x 8.29mm and scales up at 190 grams. It has 5000mAh (typical) battery capacity and supports 18W fast charging. Sadly, Redmi is offering a 10W charger inside the box. Its battery is rated to offer up to 29 hours of reading / 190 hours of music / 19 hours of video / 11 hours of gaming.
For optics, a 5MP camera is placed at front with F/2.2 Aperture and 1080p video recording support (@30fps). At the back side are dual cameras, which is a 50MP main with F/1.8 Aperture and 4-in-1 pixel binning tech. Second camera is a 2MP depth sensor with F/2.4 Aperture.
For connectivity, It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
