Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbuds with IPX4 rating, Low latency gaming mode announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has introduced its latest earbuds in China called AirDots 3 Pro. It comes with IPX4 water resistant rating, making it perfect for workouts and moderate rain.

The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro use Bluetooth V5.2 for seamless connectivity with smartphones. It makes use of AAC codec for best latency and streaming. The earbuds also allow dual device pairing for easy switching.

The wireless earphone itself measures 25.4 X 20.3 X 21.3 mm and weighs about 4.9 grams each. Its charging case has dimensions of 65 x 48 x 26 mm and has weight of 55 grams.

The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro feature 9mm driver which is tuned by Mi Audio Lab. It delivers 4 kinds of sound effects. The earphones offer active noise cancellation up to 35dB and comes with High, Balanced, Mild and Transparency modes.

For gamers, the earbuds offer 69ms super low latency in gaming mode. It has smart wear detection for auto play and pause and includes triple microphones (with ENC) for reducing environmental noise during calls. There are touch controls for easy access to calls / music / voice assistants (Google Voice / Siri).

Each AirDots 3 Pro earbud includes 35mAh battery which offers up to 6 hours of battery life (3 hours with ANC) at 50% volume. The charging case supports Qi Wireless charging and houses 470mAh battery. With it, total battery backup is increased to 28 hours. Redmi says that with just 10 minutes of charging, one can get up to 3 hours of battery life.

The Redmi AirDots 3 Pro price is set at 349 Yuan ($54 / Rs. 3,970 approx.) and comes in Obsidian Black and Ice Crystal As colors. During its 1st sale which is scheduled for June 11th, you can buy AirDots 3 Pro for just 299 Yuan ($46 / Rs. 3400 approx.).
