Redmi has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone in China called Redmi K50 Ultra.
Along with it, company has also introduced Redmi K50 Ultra Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Summer Edition. It comes with team’s signature silver, petroleum green lines and carbon fiber textures at back.
Redmi K50 Ultra specs and features
This particular mobile phone measures 163.1 x 75.9 x 8.6 mm and weighs 202 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and includes an IR Blaster.
The smartphone comes with dual Nano SIM slots and allows 5G SA/NSA and Dual 4G VoLTE. It is powered by Android 12 based MIUI 13 out of the box. For better thermals, it has VC heat dissipation area of 3725mm² and total 12-layer heat dissipation area of 30000mm².
The Redmi K50 Ultra specs include 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering 2712 x 1220 pixels 1.5K resolution. It has 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate and 1920Hz high frequency PWM dimming. It has support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision tech.
Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform with Adreno next-gen GPU. It has options of 8GB LPDDR5 (6400Mbps) RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The top-end variant has 12GB LPDDR5 (6400Mbps) RAM and 256GB / 512GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
The Redmi K50 Ultra feature in 108MP (main, 1/1.67-inch Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, AF) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras at back along with LED Flash. It has a 20MP front facing Sony IMX596 shooter.
Fueling inside is a 5000mAh (typical) battery with 120W Fast Charging support. They HyperCharge technology fully charge this mobile phone in about 19 minutes.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC, dual-band GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/NavIC and NFC. It has support for Type-C audio and includes dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos.

The smartphone is up for order in China and will go on sale from August 16th.
