Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched its latest mid-range Redmi Note series smartphone in India called Redmi Note 11 SE. It is successor to last year’s Redmi Note 10S.
Redmi Note 11 SE specs and features
It is a dual SIM smartphone with Nano SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE in India. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor and includes an IR blaster.
The phone features in 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 colors and delivers up to 1100nits brightness. The screen has corning gorilla glass 3 protection on top.
The Redmi Note 11SE specifications include octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It does allow further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card (dedicated slot).
The cell phone comes pre-installed with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5. The smartphone itself is IP53 rated for splash resistance. The device measures 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs just about 178.8 grams.
The Redmi Noe 11 SE houses a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Sadly, Redmi has not included a charger inside box packaging. The handset comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio.
The mobile houses a 13MP front camera with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side are quad-cameras with LED Flash. These include 64MP (main, F/1.79, 0.7um pixels) + 8MP (118° ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS. A 3.5mm audio jack is present as well.
Redmi Note 11 SE price and availability
The handset is priced at Rs. 13,499 and comes in BiFrost Blue, Cosmic White, Thunder Purple and Space Black colors. The charger is priced at Rs. 499 but will be available at Flipkart for Rs. 199.
The Redmi Note 11SE will go on sale in India from August 11. It will sell at Mi.com and Flipkart. ICICI Bank Credit card users can avail Rs. 1000 off on non-EMI transactions or Rs. 500 discount on pre-paid transactions.
