Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has unveiled its new RedmiBook 14 II and RedmiBook 16 laptops. These are powered by 10th Generation Intel Core i5/i7 processors.
Both of them come with 1080p resolution and boasts 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. These have fast charging battery and brings in support for Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth.
The RedmiBook 14 II comes with 8GB / 16GB DDR4 RAM while RedmiBook 16 have only 16GB RAM variant. These have 512GB storage space.
RedmiBook 14 II
The RedmiBook 14 II is a Windows 10 Home OS powered laptop with 14-inch screen-size and offers 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD resolution. The screen delivers 300nits (typ) brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.
The laptop comes in options of 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 (1GHz up to 3.6GHz) OR Core i7-1065G7 (1.3GHz up to 3.9GHz) processor. It comes with Intel Iris Plus Graphics along with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU
The RedmiBook 14 II comes with 8GB / 16GB DDR4 RAM (3200MHz) and 512GB SSD storage space. It has 40Wh battery and supports 65Wcharging (USB Type-C). It can charge 50% in just 28 minutes.
The laptop measures 320.51 x 203.1 x 16.85 mm. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.1, USB-C (x2), USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and 3.5mm headphone combo jack.
For audio, Redmi has included Realtek ALC256 with support for DTS audio and dual 2W speakers.
Redmibook 16
The notebook measures 367.20 x 232.86 x 17.55 mm and weighs about 1.8 kg. It has 16.1-inch display with 1080p resolution, 300nits brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.
The Redmibook 16 also comes with 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 or Core i7-1065G7 processor with Intel Iris Plus graphics. It has NVIDIA GeForce MX350 DDR5 GPU.
It has 16GB DDR4 RAM (3200MHz) and 512GB SSD. There is a 46Wh battery with 65W Fast charging support (50% in 30mintues). It is said to offer up to 12 hours of local video, 9 hours of online video ro up to 8.5 hours web browsing.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.1, HDMI 1.4, USB-C (x2), USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 2.0.
