Roll out for Android 7.0 Nougat OS for LG G5 begins

LG Electronics (LG) has started seeding Android 7.0 Nougat OS for LG G5 smartphone. Initially the OS update is available in company’s home market, which is South Korea.
LG had already released LG V20, company’s first smartphone to include Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS pre-installed. With this roll out announcement, LG has become the first company (after Google) to commence roll out of Android 7.0 OS.
The update will be available for existing smartphones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Android 7.0 Update will bring in new features that is specifically designed to enhance user experience.
The LG G5 users, after the Nougat update can conduct searches inside user-installed apps and built-in apps using In Apps. It has new multi-window that allows quick switching of apps. Just doing double tap, users can run two apps side by side. It also brings more personalized settings and smarter notifications.
Kim Hyung-jung, senior vice president and head of LG Mobile’s research and development, said –
