Samsung to announce Galaxy C Series smartphones on May 26

Samsung is working on its new Galaxy C Series smartphones and now there are reports that South Korean phone maker will announce them on May 26, 2016.
Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphone at the event. They are said to have metal body and fingerprint sensor and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS are also expected.
The Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) is rumored to have 5.2-Inch 1080p Display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa Core (1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Other specs could include 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB storage, MicroSD Card slot and 4G LTE support. The phone is expected to feature 8MP selfie camera and 16MP primary snapper on the back with LED flash.

Rumored specifications of Samsung Galaxy C7 (SM-C700) includes a slightly bigger 5.5-Inch 1080p display with 14nm Octa Core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. It should have 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB storage options and MicroSD card slot for further expansion. Leaked specs also suggest 16MP primary camera on the back with LED flash and 8MP secondary camera on the front for slefies.
According to the leaks, the Galaxy C5 should be priced at US$ 245 (CNY 1,599) while its premium version, the Galaxy C7 is said to have price-tag of US$ 276 (CNY 1,799). Official details including specifications, pricing and availability will be revealed on May 26.
