Samsung announces Galaxy J3, J5 and J7 (2017) lineup

Samsung Electronics has announced its latest Galaxy J 2017 series lineup which include Galaxy J3 (2017), Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017). They will go on sale in coming months.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will be released in August for € 219 while the Galaxy J5 (2017) will land in Europe later this month for € 279. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is slated to arrive in July for € 339.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017)

The phone measures 143.2 x 70.3 x 8.2 mm and comes in Single SIM / Dual SIM variants and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Galaxy J3 2017 specs include 5-inch In-Cell TFT display with 720p resolution. It has 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB (eMMC) internal memory and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
It has 5MP fixed focus front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. On the back side is 13MP rear snapper with F/1.9 Aperture and Auto Focus capabilities. The mobile is powered by 2400 mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (Cat.4), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, NFC (UICC: EUR only), FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It has Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor inside.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017)

The Galaxy J5 (2017) features in 5.2-Inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The mobile has dimensions of 146.3 x 71.3 x 7.9 mm and comes in Single / Dual SIM options.
At its core is 1.6GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It has 16GB / 32GB internal memory (Depending on market) which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It is powered by 3000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy J5 2017 specs also include 13MP rear camera with F/1.7 Aperture, LED flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support. On the front side is 13MP selfie shooter with F/1.7 Aperture.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE (Cat.6 (2CA)), Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC (UICC), FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
It also comes bundled with Fingerprint Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity, Light, Hall Sensor, Gyro and Compass.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017)

Of the lot, the most premium variant is Galaxy J7 (2017). It has 5.2-Inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution and supports multi-touch as well.
It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with 3GB RAM. Inside is 16GB (Global) / 32GB (SWA/SEA/LA) of ROM and is further expandable up to 256GB as well using MicroSD card.
The Galaxy J7 2017 specs also comes with 13MP front camera with F/1.9 Aperture and 13MP rear snapper with LED flash, F/1.7 Aperture, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support.
It supports LTE Cat.6 and is powered by 3600 mAh battery. The mobile runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.The device measures 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9 mm, houses fingerprint sensor and comes in Single / Dual SIM options.
4G LTE (Cat.6 (2CA)), Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC (UICC), FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc. Accelerometer, Proximity, light, Hall, Gyro, Compass also makes way.
