Samsung’s new Chromebook pro has been spotted in Korea ahead of its official announcement. It was up for pre-order but was later taken down.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro features 12.3-Inch 36-degree rotatable LED display (touch screen) with 2400 x 1600 pixels resolution. It has 234ppi pixel density, 3:2 screen ratio and 400nits brightness.
It has 2GHz Hexa-Core (Cortex A72 x 2 + Cortex A53 x 4) processor and comes with 4GB RAM. It has 32GB of eMMC storage and houses MicroSD card reader as well.
The device measures 279 x 250 x 13.9 mm and weighs about 1.08 KG. It runs on Chrome OS and supports Android Applications, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
The Chromebook Pro has battery life of up to 10 hours. It has loudspeaker, Headphone Jack and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C x 2 ports and Bluetooth V4.1.
The laptop seems to be made from Aluminum and includes in-built slot to store Stylus like PEN. The keyboard is chiclet-styled with curved keycaps.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro was listed at Adorma for $499 and comes in Platinum Silver colour option. It also had 1-year free AirDroid subscription.
