Samsung Electronics has officially unveiled its latest Exynos 7 Series 7904 mobile processor, which is customized specially for Indian consumer needs. It is aimed at mid-range smartphones and offers high-end features with enhanced multi-media support.
The Samsung Exynos 7 Series 7904 SoC is made using 14nm FinFET process. It is equipped with two Cortex-A73 cores running at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A53 cores with clock speeds of 1.6GHz. The Chipset delivers fast single-core performance required for web browsing, app launching and many other key operations.
The Exynos 7904 Image Signal Processor (ISP) supports single-cameras up to 32 Mega Pixels (MP). It can also hand an advanced triple-camera (single front + dual rear) setup for high end resolution imaging, taking panoramic pictures, add bokeh effects etc. The Chipset supports up to faster 1080p at 120fps or UHD at 30fps video playback. Not to mention its ability for scene adaptive color control, Video Image stabilization and multi-frame image processing.
The 7904 SoC supports up to FHD+ displays. It has embedded LTE Modem support with Cat.12 3-carrier aggregation (CA) delivering 600Mbps downlink speeds.

The Exynos 7 Series 7904 Mobile Processor is already in mass production.
