Samsung Exynos 7 Series 9610 processor with AI features, 480fps Slow-Mo recording announced

Samsung has announced its latest Exynos 7 Series 9610 processor. It has based on 10nm FinFET process and comes with embedded Cortex-M4F based low-power sensor hub, which manages sensors in real-time with waking the main processor.
The Exynos 7 Series 9610 chipset houses total of eight cores (2.3GHz Cortex-A73 x 4 + 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 x 4). It is paired with ARM Mali-G72  MP3 GPU and supports displays with up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution.
It is equipped with LTE Modem capable of handling Cat.12 3CA speeds of 600Mbps (DL) / Cat.13 2CA 150Mbps (UL). The Exynos 9610 chip also supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1/eMMC 5.1 storage.
This Exynos 7 series processor is more than capable of handling 24MP front facing cameras and 24MP single or 16MP + 16MP dual rear cameras. It also supports 4K UHD 120fps encoding and decoding with HEVC (H.265), H.264 and VP9. It can also tackle slow-mo videos at 480fps.
Additionally, it has AI features like Vision Image Processing with neural network engine for intelligent face detection. The rear cameras offers smart depth sensing, bokeh or out-focused portraits even with single cameras.
The Exynos 7 Series 9610 features in Advanced ISP and MFC which offers 1.6 times improved performance and almost double the MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) speed.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth V5.0, FM Radio and GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo
The Eynos 9610 SoC is expected to go in mass production by H2 2018.
