Samsung Exynos i T200 IoT chip goes in mass production

Samsung is not just known for its smartphones and Gadgets but also for its advanced semiconductor technology.
Today Samsung Electronics has announced that it has started mass production of its first Exynos-branded IoT solution called Exynos i T200.
It is optimum Internet of Things (IoT) solution, capable of delivering performance needed. It is built on 28nm low power High-K Metal Gate (HKMG) process that allows high processing capabilities and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Samsung Exynos i T200 makes use of both – Cortex-R4 processor and Cortex-M0+ processors. This allows chip to perform several tasks without the need of extra micro-controller IC in system.
Moreover, it comes with Wi-Fi Certified certification from Wi-Fi Alliance and is also Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n single band (2.4GHz).
