Samsung has officially launched a new Galaxy A Series smartphone in India called Galaxy A22 5G. The handset comes with dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and supports both 5G and Dual 4G VoLTE.
Unlike competitors 5G mobiles, The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has support for most SA/ NSA bands (N1, N3, N5, N7, N8, N20, N28,N38, N40, N41, N78, N79). It has a fingerprint sensor at side for fast and secure unlocking.
The mobile itself has dimensions of 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0 mm and weighs 203 grams. It runs on Android 11 with OneUI Core 3.1 on top. It has 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy A22 5G specs include 6.6-inch Infinity-V LCD display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and supports 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The cell phone comes with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options. Regardless of the variant, there is 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. A dedicated MicroSD slot allows further expansion up to 1TB.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G features in triple rear cameras and LED flash. These include 48MP (main, F/1.8) + 5MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras. For selfies, it has an 8MP front sensor with F/2.0 Aperture.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack. There is Dolby Atmos support for enhanced audio.
