The Samsung Galaxy A40 (SM-A405F) has finally made an appearance. An European e-retailer has listed the smartphone along with its photos and full specifications.
The phone houses 3D Glasstic back and has dimensions of 144.3 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm. It has Dual SIM slots and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top. It has rear facing fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Galaxy A40 specifications include 5.9-inch multi-touch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with 2230 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core (2.2GHz x 2 + 1.6GHz x 6) Exynos 7885 processor with Mali-G71 GPU.
Under the hood is 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and MicroSD card support which allows further expansion up to 512GB. A 3100 mAh battery in included as well.
In terms of cameras, there is a 25MP front facing camera for selfies. At the back side is a dual camera setup consisting of 16MP and 5MP (Ultra-Wide angle) shooters and LED Flash.
Usual features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack are present as well.
