Samsung has officially announced its latest Galaxy A series 5G smartphone called Galaxy A52s 5G. It comes with IP67 water resistant rating.
The phone offers dual SIM connectivity, which are hybrid slots. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports Samsung Pay. Mobile is powered by Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.
The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G specs include 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 800nits of brightness. Multi-touch is also there for gamers.
Inside is an eight-core Snapdragon 778g mobile platform with Adreno 642L GPU. It has 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB Storage space. There is another variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space. All models support microSD card up to 1TB.
The Galaxy A52s 5G features in 32MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side houses quad-cameras consisting of 64MP (main, F/1.8, OIS) + 12MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 5MP (depth) + 5MP (macro, F/2.2) shooters and LED flahsh.
The phone has dimensions of 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 189 grams. It has stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmost. Powering inside is a 4500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G 6GB/128GB model is priced at £409 (US$ 562 / Rs. 41,800 approx.). It comes in Awesome Mint, Awesome Violet, Awesome Whtie and Awesome Black colors. Pre-orders of phone starts from August 24th and will start selling in UK from September 3rd. The handset is expected to launch in Europe soon.
