Samsung has has introduced two new Galaxy A Series smartphones in China called Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40s.
The Samsung Galaxy A60 is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$ 298 / R s. 20,690 approx.) and comes in Black, Blue and Orange colors. It will go on sale in China later this month.
The Samsung Galaxy A40s price is 1499 Yuan (US$ 223 / Rs. 15,500 approx.) and comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. The handset will be available in China soon.
Samsung Galaxy A60
The handset measures 155.2 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and has weight of 162 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.
The phone packs in Hybrid Dual SIM slots, both Nano slots with one doubling up for MicroSD card. It has 3500 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Galaxy A60 specs include 6.3-inch Infinity-O LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 mobile platform with Adreno 612 GPU.
There is 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and support for MicroSD cards up to 512GB. The phone houses 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 32MP (F/1.7) + 5MP (depth, F/2.2) + 8MP (123-degree wide angle, F/2.2) triple cameras along with LED flash.
The Galaxy A60 features in Dolby ATMOS and supports USB Type-C audio. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS etc.
Samsung Galaxy A40s
The phone is likely a variant of Samsung Galaxy M30. It has dimensions of 158.4 x 74.9 x 7.4 mm and has 174 grams weight.
The handset comes with Dedicated Dual Nano SIM slots and a MicroSD card slot. It has rear facing finger print sensor and is powered by Android 9.0 (Pie) with One UI.
The Mobile features in 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card. There is a 5000mAh fast charging inside.
The Samsung Galaxy A40s features in 13MP (F/1.9) + 5MP (F/2.2) + 5MP (123-degree wide angle) triple camera setup at the back with LED Flash. At the front side is 16MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity wise, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It has Dolby Atmos as well.
