Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) with 5.7-Inch FHD display, 3GB RAM now official

Samsung has put an end to the rumors and has launched Galaxy A8 (2016) smartphone. It has also made its way at AnTuTu benchmarks earlier.
Samsung has officially launched Galaxy A8 (2016) in South Korea. Aesthetically, it is similar to its predecessor, sporting a flush metal uni-body slim design. It measures 156.6 x 76.8 x 7.2 mm and weighs about 182 grams.
The phone packs in 5.7-Inch AMOLED display (always on feature) with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. It has octa-core (1.5GHz x 4 + 2.1Ghz x 4) Exynos 7420 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.

Inside is 32GB of on-board storage space, further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button and is compatible with Samsung Pay.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) specs include 8MP front camera with F/1.9 aperture. On the back side is a 16MP main snapper with LED Flash, F/1.9 Aperture, PDAF and records 1080p videos.

The hardware is backed bay 3300 mAh battery that is said to offer atleast a days worth of usage. The handset comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS pre-installed and includes new Grace UX. It supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) is available for pre-order at SK Telecom. The phone is priced at KRW 649,000 (about $583) and comes in Blue colour option. There is no word regarding phone’s availability in global markets.
