Samsung Galaxy A8 Star with 6.28-inch FHD+ display, SD660, 6GB RAM launched in India

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy A8 Star smartphone in India. It has dual SIM Slots with 4G VoLTE support in India.
The smartphone houses rear facing fingerprint sensory and supports Samsung Pay. It also allows Face unlock for fast unlocking. The mobile is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star specs include 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has an octa-core (2.26GHz Kryo 260 + 1.8Ghz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU.
It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. A 3700 mAh battery powers the hardware. It also supports adaptive fast charging.
The Galaxy A8 Star features in 24MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture for selfies and video calling. It supports Smart Beauty, Pro Lighting and Ar Stickers. At the back side is 16MP (F/1.7 Aperture) + 24MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C etc.
