Samsung Galaxy A8s with 6.4-inch Infinity-O display, 8GB RAM announced

Just few days back, Samsung Galaxy A8s (SM-G8870) got certified by TENAA. Today, company has officially unveiled the smartphone.
The mobile measures 158.4 x 74.9 x 7.4 mm and has weight of 173 grams. It has dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
It has glass back and packs in a rear facing fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A8s specs include 6.4-inch Infinity-O display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support.
Talking about internals, it has an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. The cell phone comes in options of 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal memory. The device also supports microSD card up to 512GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A8s features in 24MP front facing selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a triple camera setup with LED LED flash. It consists of 24MP (F/1.7) + 10MP (telephoto lens, F/2.4, 2x optical zoom) + 5MP (depth for portrait, F/2.2) snappers.
There is a 3400 mAh (typical) / 3300 mAh (minimum) battery which supports adaptive fast charging. Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, USB Type-C, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and NFC.
The Samsung Galaxy A8S (SM-G8870) will be up for pre-order in China from December 21. It comes in Green, Blue and Gray colors. Pricing details were not revealed.
