Samsung has launched international variant of Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). The phone has landed in Malaysia for RM 1,999 (US$ 500). It is up for sale from consumer electronics retailer Senheng at its physical stores. Samsung Malaysia has yet to list the phone at its official website.
A quick recap of Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) include 6-Inch super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 367ppi pixel density and has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is powered by (1.8GHz A72 x 4 + 1.2GHz A53 x 4) Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
The Phone has 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage memory. It comes with dedicated MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 256GB. On the front is 8MP selfie camera with F/1.9 Aperture and 1080p support. On the back is 16MP primary camera with F/1.9 Aperture, 1/2.8-Inch Sensor size, Auto Focus, OIS and LED flash.
The Galaxy A9 Pro also comes with Fingerprint sensor for added security. It has a powerful 5000mAh non removable battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
