Samsung Galaxy Fold with 7.3-inch Infinity Flex foldable display, 12GB RAM, 6 cameras launched in India

Samsung has officially launched its first foldable smartphone in India called Galaxy Fold. It was first unveiled back in February at its Galaxy Unpacked event.

The phone went through several design enhancements since it first unveil. After its much delay, this foldable handset has started rolling out globally, including India.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold features in a side mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and houses Stereo speakers tuned by AKG. In tablet mode, It has 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QXGA+ resolution. The cover display is of 4.6-inch Super AMOLED panel with HD+ resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio.

The phone packs in octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM (UFS 3.0). you get a 4380mAh (typical) battery and supports fast charging (wired and wireless).

The Galaxy Fold specs also include 10MP front cover camera. When in tablet mode, you get 10MP + 8MP front shooters. The back side houses 16MP + 12MP + 12MP triple rear cameras. This makes a total of 6 cameras in this smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold price in India is Rs. 1,64,999 ($2320 approx.) and comes in Cosmos Black color. Pre-order for phone begins October 4th at Samsung e-Store, Samsung Shop and Offline channels including Samsung Opera House. It will start selling from October 20th.
