Samsung has put an end to the rumors and has launched Galaxy J2 (2016) smartphone in India. It has 5-Inch AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch.
The mobile runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, features Turbo Speed Technology (TST) that loads 40% faster than the devices with twice the RAM. It shuts down idle processes in background, declutters RAM and makes use of its unique intelligent memory system. The handset also includes Ultra Data Saving (UDS), Opera Max and S bike bode.
The phone has dimensions of 142.4 x 71.1 x 8.0 mm comes with a unique smart glow notification system. It is situated around rear camera and consists of LED rings. It is customizable (up to 4 alerts). Alerts can be set on ROM, battery, mobile data etc.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) specs include 1.5GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC8830 Processor with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It has 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal Storage ROM and MicroSD cards slot for further expansion up to 32GB.
On the front side is 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture. On the back is 8MP main camera with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture and Auto Focus capabilities. Inside is 2600 mAh battery that fuels the hardware.
The mobile phone is equipped with Dual SIM slots. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) is priced at $144 (Rs. 9750 in India). It comes in Silver, Gold an Black colours. It also comes with 6months double data offer for Airtel Prepaid worth up to Rs. 4,500. The handset will go on sale from July 14, 2016 via all channels.
