The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV, company’s first smartphone with Digital TV tuner, is already available in Philippines. It allows users to watch to watch broadcast television through out country.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV Specs include 4.7-Inch Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. It has 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 8GB RAM. Inside is 8GB storage ROM of which about 4.3GB is user available. MicroSD cards up to 128GB are supported as well.
The smartphone is equipped with 2000 mAh removable battery that offers up to 12 hours of 3G talk time. It has 2MP CMOS camera on the front and 5MP CMOS camera on the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 720p video recording (30fps).
The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV comes with Dual micro SIM slots and supports 4G LTE (bands 1/2/3/4/5/7). The phone measures 136.5 x 69 x 8.4 mm and weighs 130 grams. The phone runs on Android OS.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.o, GPS / GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc. It also house Accelerometer, Proximity sensor as well.
It is worth mentioning that DTV Feature wont work in US or European regions due to difference in standards.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV is priced at PHP 6999 (US$ 150 approx.). It comes in Gold colour option.
