Samsung has launched its latest J Series smartphone in India called Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8. Both of them are powered by Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Samsung’s own UI on top.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 price is set at Rs. 13,990 for 3GB/32GB model and goes up to Rs. 16,490 for 4GB/64GB model. The Samsung Galaxy J8 costs Rs. 18,990 and come sin Black color. Both models comes in Black Gold and Blue colors.
These handsets will be available in India online via Flipkart, Samsung Shot and PayTM Mall. The Galaxy J6 will be available starting May 22 while the Galaxy J8 will land in July. Launch offers will include 1500 cashback on ICICI Bank cards and one-time screen replacement.
Samsung Galaxy J6
The Smartphone features in 5.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1480 x 720 pixels resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core EXYNOS 7870 processor with Mali-T830 GPU.
The Galaxy J6 specs include 8MP front camera with LED Flash and F/1.9 Aperture. At the back side is 13MP rear shooter with LED Flash and F/1.9 Aperture. The hardware is powered by 3000 mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. There is rear mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
Samsung Galaxy J8
The phone specs include 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2.5D curved glass and resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels. It has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU.
Inside is 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 256GB. The mobile comes Dual SIM slots and is powered by 3500 mAh battery.
Other options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS, ANT+, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
