Samsung Galaxy M02s with 5000mAh battery launched in India

Samsung India has launched a new Galaxy M Series Smartphonein the country called Galaxy M02s. The handset is an upgraded model to recently announced Galaxy M01s.

Due to its aggressive pricing, Samsung has included a plastic back side with matte / hazed textured pattern. The smartphone offers Dual SIM connectivity with Dual 4G VoLTE support.

The Samsung Galaxy M02s specs include 6.5-inch Infinity-V LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering its core is 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 mobile platform with Adreno 506 GPU.

The mobile has two models – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space and other with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. These support MicroSD card up to 1TB for further storage expansion.

The Galaxy M02s features in 5000mAh battery and supports 15W adaptive fast charging. The smartphone itself is 9.1 mm thick and weighs about 196 grams. It runs on Android 10 with One UI on top.

The cellphone houses triple rear cameras which include 13MP (main) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP depth shooters. For selfies and video calling, Samsung has included 5MP (F/2.2) front camera.

In terms of connectivity, device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy M02s 3GB/32GB model is priced at Rs. 8999 while its 4GB/64GB variant has price-tag of Rs. 9999. The smartphone comes in Black, Blue and Red colors. It will go on sale at Amazon.in, Samsung.com and major retail stores soon.
