Samsung Galaxy M12 launched in India starting Rs. 10999

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy M12 smartphone in India. It was first introduced in Vietnam back in February.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 India variant comes with Black, White and Blue colors and boasts new haze and matte design. Its rear shell is different from one in Vietnam.

The cellphone measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.7 mm and weighs 221 grams. It comes with side-facing fingerprint sensor and Dual Nano Slots inside. It runs on Android 11 with OneUI 3.1 out of the box.

The Galaxy M12 specs include 6.5-inch Infinity-V display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.

Under the hood is octa-core Exynos 850 SoC with Mali-G52 GPU. The Galaxy M12 has of options with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage space and 6GB RAM with 128GB built-in ROM. The device also includes dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion up to 1TB.

The Galaxy M12 feature an 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are quad-cameras which include 48MP (main, ISOCELL GM2, F/2.0) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 5MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) shooters with LED Flash.

Powering its hardware is 6000mAh battery capacity. It also supports 15W Adaptive fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio Jack.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 4GB/64GB model price is set at Rs. 10,999 while its 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 13,499.
