Samsung Galaxy M12 out with 6000mAh battery, 48MP quad-rear cameras

Samsung Vietnam unit has silently announced a new Galaxy M Series smartphone called Galaxy M12. It comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.7 mm and weighs about 221 grams. The rear side of cellphone have micro motifs with soft curve for easy grip.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 is powered by Android 11 (with OneUI 3.0) and features in 6.5-inch Infinity-V display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio.

Pumping inside is octa-core Exynos 850 processor with Mali-G52 GPU. The handset comes in 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM options and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage variants. It has MicroSD card support up to 1TB for further expansion.

The Galaxy M12 specs include 6000mAh (typical) battery capacity and supports 15W fast charging. It has Dual Nano SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE support.

In terms of optics, the mobile houses 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are four cameras which include 48MP main with F/2.0 Aperture, 5MP ultra-wide angle lens with F/2.2 Aperture and 123° FOV, 2MP depth lens with F/2.4 Aperture and 2MP macro lens with F/2.4 Aperture.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.
