Samsung Galaxy M40 with SD675, 6GB RAM announced

Samsung has officially introduced its new ‘Galaxy M Series’ smartphone called Galaxy M40. It has screen sound technology which uses phones display as an ear piece.

The phone sports a rear facing fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI. There are Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE support.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 specifications include 6.3-inch Infinity-O LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top and boasts an impressive 91.8% screen-to-body ratio.

Its processing power is derived from 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU for graphics. It has 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and supports microSD cards up to 512GB for further expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy M4 Features in 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and Face Unlock support. At the back side is triple camera setup which consists of 32MP (main, F/1.7) + 8MP (123-degree Ultra-Wide, F/2.2) + 5MP (Depth, F/2.2) sensors.

Other specs include 3500 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. There is no 3.5mm audio jack so you’ll have to use USB Type-C audio. There is support for Dolby Atmos as well.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 price in India is Rs. 19,990 (US$ 288 approx.) and comes in Sea Water Blue and Midnight Black colors. It will start selling at Amazon.in and Samsung Online Shop from June 19, 2019. There are several launch offers attached as well.
