Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) with dual rear cameras launched

Samsung recently launched Galaxy On6 smartphone in India. Today, company has introduced Galaxy On8 (2018) smartphone in India. It is an online only smartphone with face unlock and rear facing fingerprint sensor.

The phone features in Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS and is powered by 3500 mAh battery. The OS comes pre-installed with Samsung Mall, an AI based application that hleps users in shopping simply by clicking on photos of desired products.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 2018 specs include 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2.5D curved glass and 1480 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 18.5:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch.

This Samsung phone uses 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform and houses Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.

Talking about cameras, the Galaxy On8 (2018) features in 16MP (F/1.7 Aperture) and 5MP (F/1.9 Aperture) dual rear cameras with LED Flash, PDAF and 1080p video recording support. At the front side is a 16MP selfie shooter with F/1.9 Aperture and LED Flash for taking photos in low light conditions.

Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), ANT+, Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack are supported as well.

You can buy Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) online exclusively at Flipkart and Samsung Shop Online for Rs. 16,990 (US$ 248 approx.). The cell phone comes in Black and Blue colors and will be available in India starting August 6th.
