Samsung has officially announced Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition (SM-G8750). It was previously rumored to launch as Galaxy S9 Lite.
The smartphone measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8 mm and weighs 150 grams. It has IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The device sports metallic frame and glass back. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, just besides the rear camera. Moreover, the handset also supports IRIS Recognition.
The Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition specs include 5.8-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU.
The Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition features in 8MP front camera with F/1.7 Aperture, 1/3.6-inch Sensor Size, 1.22µm pixel size, 80-degree wide angle lens and Auto Focus capabilities. At the back side is 12MP dual pixel rear camera with LED Flash, F/1.7 Aperture, 1/2.55-inch Sensor Size, 1.4µm pixels and supports OIS as well.
There are array of sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Gyro, Geomagnetic, RGB Light, Pressure sensor and Barometer. There is no heart rate sensor though.
