Samsung Galaxy S20 Series announced – Specs, Price

Samsung has officially announced its latest Galaxy S20 family of smartphones. The series includes Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. These are flagship phones and comes with premium specifications.

These comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots and comes in both 5G and 4G LTE models. They boot on Android 10 out of the box and houses ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.

Depending on market, the Galaxy S20 series will be offered with either Exynos 990 SoC or Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. Depending on the mode, you also get 8GB / 12GB RAM options in S20 / S20+. The Galaxy S20 Ultra premium variant will have 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage space.

The Galaxy S20 and S20+ houses 64MP as their main camera while the Galaxy S20 Ultra takes things to next level with its 108MP shooter. Its larger lens takes in more light during low light situations. It has option to shif dynamically between high resolution 108MP mode and 12MP mode, thanks to its nona-binning technology (combines nine pixels into one at sensor level).

The Galaxy S20 series have Space Zoom technology which leverages hybrid optic zoom and super resolution zoom (includes AI powered digital zoom) to zoom in closer when at a distance. The S20 and S20+ offers 30X zoom whiles S20 Ultra offers up to 100X Super Resolution Zoom thanks to its AI powered multi-image processing.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ 8GB/128GB (with 5G connectivity) price is €1,100/$1100 while the Samsung Galaxy S20 8GB/128GB price start at €900. The Galaxy S20 5G variant costs €1,000/$999. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ Ultra is available for pre-order starting today with 128GB option carrying price-tag of €1,3450/$1,400
