Samsung Galaxy S8 model numbers and code names tipped

Samsung is facing lots of criticism for its exploding batteries in Galaxy Note 7. This is not stopped the Korean phone maker from working on its next year’s Flagship phone, the so called Galaxy S8.
Rumor has it that Samsung is working on two Galaxy S8 phones. It’s their dream project after its Note 7 fiasco and for that reason they are internally code named Dream and Dream 2.
Why two code names? One might question. According to the speculations, Samsung has two Galaxy S8 models under its sleeves. The first one allegedly sports a 5.1-inch display and carries model number SM-G950. It will be successor to last years Galaxy S6 (SM-G930).  The second of the lot is a larger 5.5-Inch screen variant that bears model number SM-G955. It will replace Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935).
One more thing notable is that Samsung has skipped SM-G940 / SM-G945 model number. The same behavior was also seen back when company launched Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S3: GT-I9300 and Galaxy S4: GT-9500).
Maybe, its Tetraphobia. Most of South Koreans are known to avoid the number 4 associating it with bad luck. It is not an official reason but a strong theory.
In terms of rumors, the Galaxy S8 regardless of the screen size will have dual edge displays. It is also expected to have dual camera setup at the back.
