Korean giant Samsung, along with Galaxy S8 and also unveiled Galaxy S8+ smartphone. It has a larger 6.2-inch curved Super AMOLED infinity display 2960 x 1440 pixels resolution. It offers 529ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It will get processing power from octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It will also have market dependent variant with octa-core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage (UFS 2.1) ROM and 6GB RAM (limited markets) with 128GB built-in memory (UFS 2.1). It also supports further expansion using MicroSD card.

The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It has fingerprint sensor, Heart Rate sensor, IRIS Scanner, Accelreometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic, Proximity, RGB Light Sensor, Pressure Sensor, Geo-magnetic sensor and Barometer.
The mobile gets energy from 3500 mAh battery. It has fast charging capabilities, supporting both wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging. It offers talk time of up to 15 hours, MP3 playback (AOD OFF) up to 78 hours and Wi-Fi internet usage of 15 hours.
Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, USB 2.0, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
On the camera front, it has 8MP AF Wide selfie shooter with F/1.7 Aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, 1/3.6-inch sensor and 80-degree FOV. The back side sports 12MP AF Dual Pixel camera with F/1.7 Aperture, OIS, 1.4µm pixel size, 1/2.55-inch sensor size, 77-degree FOV and 8x digital zoom support. 4K Video recording with VDIS, HDR etc. is also supported.
