Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen support goes official

We already knew that Samsung was working on Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen support, of which renders had already surfaced. Now, company has launched its latest tablet in South Korea.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 specs include 10.1-Inch TFT Display with 1920 x 1200 pixels WUXGA resolution, 16:10 contrast ratio and supports multi-touch.
It has minimalist design with soft texture and rounded lines on the hand grip. It supports constantly evolving S Pen wit its own set of features. It allows one to translate images into works, take notes, write description to images and can be used to for drawing as well.

The tablet measures 254.3 x 164.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 558 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and comes with special kids mode as well. Under the hood is 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and 3GB RAM.

Internal storage spaces is 32GB of which about 24.8GB is user available. It also comes with MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 256GB.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen also supports 2G / 3G / 4G LTE networks. It features a decent 7300 mAh non removable battery that allows 43 hours 3G talk time, up to 49 hours 4G talk time, up to 154 hours audio, 13 hours of video and up to 13 hours of internet usage.
This latest tablet from Samsung comes bundled with 2MP CMOS Camera on the front and 8MP CMOS snapper on the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support (at 30fps).

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, VHT80, ANT+, MicroUSB V2.0, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou etc. It also includes accelerometer, hall sensor and RGB Light sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen comes in Black and White color option. It is priced at ₩ 489,000 that converts to about US$ 436.
