Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) goes official – Specs, Price

Samsung has officially announced its latest tablet in Vietnam called Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). The Wi-Fi only variant carries model number SM-T380 while the 4G LTE model has SM-T385.
The tablet measures 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 364 grams.It has metal body and sports a dedicated home button, usually seen in most Samsung devices.
It has an 8-inch multi-touch WXGA display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It has a 1.4Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) specs include 5MP front camera and 8MP main shooter at the back with LED flash. It has F/1.9 Aperture, supports Auto Focus and 1080p video recording.
The Tablet runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. It has a 5000 mAh battery that is said to offer up to 36 hours 3G talk time (4G model), up to 14 hours 3G internet usage, about 14 hours of video and 153 hours of audio.
Connectivity wise, it has optional 4G LTE (with voice calling), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, MicroUSB V2.0, ANT+, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is priced at 6490000 Vietnamese Dong (Rs. 18,250 / US$ 285 approx.) and comes in Gold and Black colors.
