Samsung has officially unveiled Galaxy Tab A (2018) 10.5″ android tablet. It comes with 4G LTE and Wi-Fi Only options and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
It has special Kids Mode with child-friendly tablet interface specially designed to make learning and entertainment simple, fun and safe. It includes Kids Browser, Galaxy Apps for Kids and 8 free child friendly apps.
The tablet has dimensions of 260 x 161.1 x 8.0 mm and weighs 529 grams (Wi-Fi) / 534 grams (LTE). It has a total of four speakers which are placed at four corners of the tablet. The device also supports Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2018) specs include 10.5-inch TFT LCD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels WUXGA resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform with Adreno 506 GPU.
The tablet comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card. The slate is equipped with 5MP front camera and 8MP rear shooter with LED Flash and records 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2018) 10.5″ price is set at €329 (US$ 383 / ₹ 26,200 approx.) for Wi-Fi only model. The 4G LTE variant of Galaxy Tab A 2018 costs €389 (US$ 453 / ₹ 30,980 approx.). The tablet comes in Black, Grey and Blue colors and will roll out starting August 24th.
