Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) budget tablet in India. It comes in Wi-Fi only (SM-T290) and 4G LTE (SM-T295) models. The tablet was first introduced last month.
It has 8-inch TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood is 2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 429 processor with Adreno 504 GPU.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features in 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM and MicroSD cards up to 512GB for further expansion. It has 2MP selfie camera and 8MP auto focus shooter at the back.
There is a 5100 mAh battery which powers the hardware. The device measures 210 x 124.4 x 8 mm and weighs 345 (Wi-Fi) / 347 (LTE) grams.
It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Wi-Fi costs Rs. 9999 while the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 LTE price is Rs. 11,999. It comes in Silver and Black colors. The LTE variant will be available via offline channels by end of August 2019. The Wi-Fi variant is up for order at Flipkart.
