Samsung Galaxy Wide5 (SM-E426S) launched in South Korea at SK Telecom

Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone in South Korea called Galaxy Wide5 (SM-E426S). The handset comes at exclusively at SK Telecom.

Notably, this smartphone is will also launch in several other markets, but with different name. Others might get it as Galaxy F42 5G or Galaxy buddy.

Samsung Galaxy Wide5 specifications and features

The cell phone comes with nano SIM slot and supports 5G and 4G VoLTE. The device itself measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0 mm and weighs 203 grams. It has fingerprint print sensor at side.

The Galaxy Wide 5 specs include 6.6-inch LCD V-notch display offering FHD+ resolution and multi-touch support. Powering inside is octa-core MediaTek Dimensiy 700 (MTK 6833) processor ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

This particular model houses 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage space. It has MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 1TB.

The Galaxy Wide5 feature an 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back are triple cameras and LED flash. These include 64MP main with F/1.8 Aperture, 5MP 115° ultra-wide angle lens with F/2.2 Aperture and 2MP depth sensor with F/2.4 Aperture.

The mobile phone packs a 5000mAh battery inside with 15W fast charging support. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Galaxy Wide 5 is available at SK Telecom for KRW 450,000 ($385/€325) and comes in White, Black and Blue colors. [sourcevia]
