Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 rugged smartphone to launch in April 2017

Samsung has just announced that it will launch a new Xcover series smartphone in April called Galaxy Xcover 4.
It will have IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The device will also be MIL-STD 810G certified for added durability. It will give protection against high / low temperatures, mechanical shocks, vibrations, intense sunlight, salt water mist etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 will feature hardware buttons. It will be durable enough to sustain falls from up to 1.2 meters.From what we know so far, It has 4.99-inch 720p display with 294ppi pixel density. The screen can also be used while wearing gloves.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 image -01 It features 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 14nm processor with Mali-T720 GPU.  The specs list also reveal 2GBR AM, 16GB storage ROM and MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB.
The smartphone weighs about 172 grams and houses 2800 mAh battery inside. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.  It will have 5MP front and 13MP rear camera with LED Flash.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 will be priced at €259 and comes in Black color option.
