Samsung Gear Sport unveiled at IFA 2017

After announcing Gear Fit2 Smartwatch, Samsung has announced yet another wearable. It is water resistant 5ATM rating allowing it to survive at depths of 50 meters.
The Gear Sport is compatible with an 20mm watch band. It has Rotating bezels, back key and home key. It has Heart Rate sensor as well.
The smartwatch has dimensions of of 42.9 x 44.5 x 11.6 mm and weighs about 50 grams (67grams with strap). It has 1.2-Inch Super AMOLED display with 360 x 360 resolution. The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratch resistance.
Under the hood is 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM  and 4GB internal memory. It runs on Tizen OS 3.0 and comes withUA, Spotify offline and Speedo.
Samsung Gear Sport image -2It has array of sensors like Accelerometer, Gyro, Barometer, HRM and Ambient light sensors. The Samsung Gear Sport is powered by 300 mAh battery.
Talking about features, it has automatic activity tracking. It allows one to set health and diet goals when connected with smartphone and track progress. It can record each activity, tracks calories and easily syncs with SHealth.
It has 60 workouts and works with training guide app on your phone. It can also guide you though motions as it measure your heart rate. Even when swimming, it can track stroke type, lap time, heart rates etc.
Apart from that, using Gear Sport easily allows one to change settings or replying to notifications just with a simple swipe. You can swipe up / down to access customized moment bar or reply to text just by turning bezels.
Moreover, the samrtwatch supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS and NFC.
The Samsung Gear Sport comes in Black and Blue color options. The smartwatch is expected to cost €349 (US$ 417 / Rs. 26,700) and will go on sale in Europe in October.
