Samsung has just announced its latest flagship, the Galaxy Note7. Along with it, company has allow announced its latest Gear VR headset.
The new Gear VR has dimensions of 207.8 x 122.5 x 98.6 (W x L x H) and weighs about 312 grams. It has new touch pad and supports USB Type-C.
It has a wider Field of View (FOV) than its predecessor. The FOV is set at 101 degrees for optimum gaming and multimedia experience. The design of new Gear VR headset is more or less the same.
The latest VR headsets will be compatible with Galaxy Note 7, S7, S7 Edge, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note 5. The Samsung Gear VR is priced at US$ 99 and will go on pre-order from August 3, 2016. It will go on sale from August 9, 2016.
