Samsung HW-N850 and HW-N950 soundbars announced

Samsung had acquired Harman International back in March 2017 and since then, both companies have have been collaborating on mobile products.
Today, Samsung has released two new co-branded premium soundbars – the HW-N850 and HW-N950. Both of them feature Samsung’s and Harman Kardon’s logos to represent their new partnership.
The HW-N850 and HW-N950 both supports DTS’ proprietary DTS:X technology as well as Dolby Atmos for immersive and rich 3D sound. They have up and side-firing speakers move the sound waves naturally around the listeners.
Samsung_Harman-Kardon_Cobranded-Soundbar-02The HW-N950 features in a main unit, four speakers and two wireless surround sound speakers. It has 7.1.4 channels which are also the largest number of channels available in a soundbar. Moreover, there is a built-in wireless subwoofer and rear wireless kit for premium audio.
The HW-N850 on the other hand features in 5.1.2 channel and includes main unit speaker and woofer. In short, it is more simplified version of HW-N950.
The HW-N850 price is set at US$ 1,199.99 (Rs. 84,260 approx.) while the premium HW-N950 price goes at US$ 1,699.99 (Rs. 1,12,350 approx.). Both of them will be available starting August 20th.
